Nancy’s occupations have mostly had to do with language: teacher of English as a Second Language, neurolinguistics researcher, technical writer, editor, information architect, and web designer. She has a Ph.D. in Linguistics from McGill University and has lived in Japan, Canada, and various parts of the U.S., including off the grid in California while working in Silicon Valley.
