WikiProject Restoration aims to help Wikipedia to recover fair decision-making, genuine neutrality, transparent leadership, and responsiveness to the public. More fully, we seek to help Wikipedia to:

  • Adopt more just and rational methods of reaching decisions on policy, editorial, and personnel questions.
  • Return to the original neutrality policy, acknowledging legitimate differences in judgment about source reliability and tolerating multiple points of view.
  • Ensure the leadership is fully transparent and accountable.
  • Create the means by which the public, both for its own sake and editors’, can evaluate and respond to articles.

Our scope, or pages on which project focuses, extends to policy pages, guidelines, and essays relevant to these categories of reforms. We will also be interested in various relevant article talk pages, where issues are being discussed and principles applied. Finally, we will be paying special attention to RfCs, the Village Pump, Dispute resolution, and occasionally ArbCom.

We do not assert any sort of authority over the pages that are within this project's scope.
